Marriage and Your Will

Getting married?

Recently married?

If you are getting married or have recently married, it is an ideal time to update your Will or create a Will if you have not prepared one before.

Having a Will means that your loved ones know what your wishes are and what you want done with your assets and possessions including if you want something in particular to go to a certain person.

Even if you have not had any changes to your family relationships such as marriage, it is a good idea to check your Will regularly to ensure that it reflects your current wishes.

A stressful or difficult conversation now may make it is likely easier for your loved ones, rather than you passing away and your family having to deal with your estate matters without a Will.
