There are new Family Law Fees that come in effect as of today, 1 July 2014.

The fees listed below are effective from 1 July 2014.

$845 Application for divorce
$280*Application for divorce – Reduced fee
$530 Application for children and property
$320 Application (for children or property)
$320 Response, seeking different orders sought by applicant (for children or property)
$590 Setting down fee for hearing (defended matter)
$590 Daily Hearing Fee (for each hearing day, or part of a hearing day, excluding the first hearing day)
$110 Application for interim order
$100 Filing an application to register a New Zealand judgement under the Trans-Tasman Proceedings Act 2010
$55 Issuing a subpoena
$370 Conciliation conference
Nil Child Support Application/Response

* In some cases a reduced fee may be sought for a divorce application or in respect of other fees, an exemption, if you hold certain government concession cards or you can demonstrate financial hardship.
