National Child Protection Week

National Child Protection Week for 2014 has launched this week.  National Child Protection Week has been running for over 20 years and aims to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of primary prevention to reduce child abuse and neglect in Australia.

The core message is “protecting children is everyone’s business”.

In the ACT, the Care and Protection Services works in partnership with the community and a network of service providers, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in our community.
