The Australian Government has today released a consultation paper to inform the Terms of Reference for the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
The consultation paper seeks views in relation to the scope of the terms of reference, the form of the Royal Commission and the timetable and reporting arrangements.
Interested parties may provide written feedback on the consultation paper by 26 November with a view to the Government finalising the Terms of Reference and having the Royal Commission in place before the end of 2012 and the Commission to start work in early 2013.
This consultation paper on the establishment of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse is available at www.dpmc.gov.au/child_abuse_
